❶ She should welcome him with clean clothes and a smiling face.
❷ When the husband calls her to fulfill his sexual desire, she should be readily available and give him open-hearted permission to use her wealth.

A society with no harmony between a husband and wife cannot remain peaceful. If both were to hold equal status, the likelihood of harmony would be minimal. Therefore, the wife has been placed subordinate to the husband, because the superiority of the male in terms of masculinity is inherently and practically acknowledged. Thus, the best wife is one who remains obedient to her husband so that society can become an example of a Paradise. In a society where men and women hold equal status, it is common to witness social restlessness and marital breakdown.
