Aḥādīth

Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 1348: no day does Allāh free more slaves from the Fire than the Day of ‘Arafah. Ṣaḥīḥ, with Arabic text, takhrīj and explanation.

Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 969: no deeds are better than those in the first ten days of Dhul-Ḥijjah, plus takbīr of Ibn ‘Umar and Abū Hurayrah. Arabic and takhrīj.

Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 6114: “The strong one is not the wrestler, but the one who controls himself when angry.” Arabic text, takhrīj and scholars’ commentary.

Sunan at-Tirmidhī 2345: two brothers — one worked, one sought knowledge — “perhaps you are provided because of him.” Ṣaḥīḥ per al-Albānī, with takhrīj.

Musnad al-Bazzār 7513 (Ṣaḥīḥ): Two sounds are cursed in this world and the hereafter: musical instruments at a blessing and screaming at a calamity.

Al-Adab al-Mufrad [1049] (Ṣaḥīḥ): From signs of the Hour: greetings given only to acquaintances, widespread commerce, and cutting ties of kinship.

Sunan Ibn Mājah [3663] (Ṣaḥīḥ): The father is the middle and best door to Paradise; preserve this door by honoring him, or forfeit it by neglect.

Sunan an-Nasā'ī 3231 (Ṣaḥīḥ): The best woman makes him happy when he looks at her, obeys him, and does not go against his wishes in herself or her wealth.

Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim [1054]: Successful is the one who accepts Islām, is granted sufficient sustenance, and made content by Allāh with what He provided.

Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī [69]: The Prophet ﷺ said: “Make things easy and do not make them difficult; give glad tidings and do not repel people.” Authentic.

Sunan an-Nasā'ī [5399] (Ṣaḥīḥ isnād): The legal hierarchy of rulings: judge by the Book of Allāh, then the Sunnah, then consensus of the scholars.

Al-Mu’jam al-Kabīr [22/361] (Ṣaḥīḥ): The warning against taking religious knowledge from immature, unqualified novices. Complete isnād analysis.

Sunan al-Kubrā [6392] (Ḥasan): Three supplications are not rejected: the fasting person, the oppressed one, and the traveler. Authentic isnād.

Al-Mu’jam al-Kabīr [7473] (Ḥasan ṣaḥīḥ): Seeking religious knowledge expiates sins and elevates ranks; isnād authenticated by al-Albānī and al-Haythamī.

Sunan ad-Dārimī [217] (Ṣaḥīḥ): An intention rooted firmly in the authentic Sunnah is far superior to striving exhaustively upon an innovated path.

Bayhaqī’s Sunan al-Kubrā (2519): Abū Ismā’īl Muḥammad bin Ismā’īl as-Sulamī relates that he prayed behind Abū an-Nu’mān Muḥammad bin Faḍl. Graded Ḥasan.

Musnad Aḥmad 543 (Ṣaḥīḥ): Al-Ḥasan notes ‘Uthmān’s extreme shyness: even behind closed doors, it prevented him from standing straight when pouring water.
