Imām Aḥmad: Whoever Rejects a Ḥadīth…

قَالَ: وَسَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ  يَقُولُ: مَنْ رَدَّ حَدِيثَ النَّبِيِّ ×، فَهُوَ عَلَى شَفَا هَلَكَةٍ

He said: And I heard Abā ‘Abdullāh [i.e., Imām Aḥmad] say:

“Whoever rejects a ḥadīth of Allāh’s Messenger (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) is on the brink of destruction.”
