عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو الْأَنْصَارِيِّ الْبَدْرِيِّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: إِنَّ مِمَّا أَدْرَكَ النَّاسُ مِنْ كَلَامِ النُّبُوَّةِ الْأُولَى: إِذَا لَمْ تَسْتَحْيِ فَاصْنَعْ مَا شِئْتَ. رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ

20 – It is reported on the authority of Abī Mas’ūd ‘Uqbah bin ‘Amr al-Anṣārī al-Badrī (may Allāh be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allāh (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) said:

“Verily from what was learnt by the people from the speech of the earliest prophecy is: If you feel no shame, then do as you wish.” [Reported by Bukhārī]
