Book 59: The book of Knowledge
Chapter 1: What has been related about seeking knowledge
Ḥadīth [1950]: Mālik reported: Luqmān al-Ḥakīm enjoined upon his son, saying: “O my son, sit with the scholars and keep close to them. Allāh gives life to the hearts with the light of wisdom just as He gives life to the dead earth with rain from the sky.”
