Abū Dardā' on the importance of knowledge and its implementation

قَالَ أَبُو الدَّرْدَاءِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُ: >وَيْلٌ لِمَنْ لَا يَعْلَمُ وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللّٰهُ لَعَلَّمَهُ وَوَيْلٌ لِمَنْ يَعْلَمُ وَلَا يَعْمَلُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ<
Translation
Abū Dardā' [d. 32H] (may Allāh be pleased with him) said: “Woe one time to he who does not know and acts! And woe seven times to he who knows and does not act upon his knowledge.”
