Ma’rūf al-Karkhī on two signs that Allāh has intended evil for a person
Ma’rūf al-Karkhī [d. 200H] (may Allāh have mercy upon him) said: “If Allāh intends evil for His servant he locks the door of action upon him and opens for him the door of argumentation.”
