قال معروف الكرخي رحمه الله: >ارتجاء رحمة من لا يطاع جهل وحمق<
Translation
Ma’rūf al-Karkhī [d. 200H] (may Allāh have mercy upon him) said: “Hoping to receive the mercy of the one who you insist on being disobedient to, is a kind of betrayal and foolishness.”
