Chapter [35]: The disappearance of al-Amānah

Ḥadīth [6496]: It is narrated on the authority of Abī Hurayrah (may Allāh be pleased with him) that he said: The Messenger of Allāh (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) said: “When honesty is lost, then wait for the Hour.” It was asked: ‘How will honesty be lost, O Allāh’s Messenger?’ He said: When authority is given to those who do not deserve it, then wait for the Hour.”
