قَالَ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ عَفَّانَ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُ: >إِنِّي لَأَكْرَهُ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ عَلَيَّ يَوْمٌ لَا أَنْظُرُ فِي الْمُصْحَفِ<
Translation
‘Uthmān bin ‘Affān [d. 35H] (may Allāh be pleased with him) said: “I hate for even one day to pass by me, without having looked inside the Qurān once.”
