قَالَ الْفُضَيْلَ بْنَ عِيَاضٍ رَحِمَهُ اللّٰهُ: >عَالِمٌ عَامِلٌ مُعَلِّمٌ يُدْعَى كَبِيرًا فِي مَلَكُوتِ السَّمَاوَاتِ<

Translation

Al-Fuḍayl bin ‘Iyāḍ ^{[d. 187H]} (may Allāh have mercy upon him) said: “The scholar who works in teaching is regarded a great man in the domain of the heavens.”
