… قال ابن القيم رحمه الله: … أن يمشي بعد العشاء خطوات ولو مائة خطوة، ولا ينام عقبه، فإنه مضر جدا

Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allāh have mercy upon him) said:

“… It is recommended to walk a number of steps after eating at night even if it is merely a hundred steps, and he should not sleep right after eating as it causes great harm (to one’s body) …”
