At-Targhīb wat-Tarhīb [Ismā’īl al-Aṣbahānī]

It is narrated on the authority of Abī Hurayrah (may Allāh be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allāh (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) said: “Indeed a man may pray for sixty years and his prayer won't be accepted. (This is because) he may perform rukū' properly but fall short in his sujūd or he may perform sujūd properly but fall short in his rukū'.”
